Ok, ok you know who I’m talking about. Your husband, boyfriend, brother, dad. They have everything right? So annoying to shop for. And yet are there? I’ve rallied up some fun and unique ideas for all those tricky to buy for men in your life. Hope you find something that can work! 

1. A staple in our home, M (and I!) love this ocean salt scrub. Great for winter skin too, keeps you nice and hydrated.
2. Can always use a good luck charm in the office place! Love this bright gold one for his desk.
3. M is addicted to his Clarisonic but they are kind of a pain to travel with. This one has all the power of the big one but is slimmer and easier to fit in the travel bag.
4. Classic. Can’t go wrong. Update his cologne with a luxurious scent.
5. We found out about this wine airater in Sonoma. Supposed to be wine owners new fav for pouring and also doubles as a wine cork.
6. Ha! Fun socks are always a great little gift. Love these Sunday socks, and also the baseball socks.
7. Ballpark wine openers? I’m almost certain your man doesn’t own that. Completely unique and oh so fun!
8. For the bar cart, Chicago wine glasses. Other cities are offered too!

A Monday in December means another lovely gift guide! One of my favorites to prepare, this gift guide is for that great gal pal in your life. You know the one, the one that knows all your secrets. That loves your kids. That dances in the kitchen with you. Yep, that one. She deserves something special, don’t you think? Here are some lovely gift ideas that are just as lovely as she is!

1. Leave it to Anthropologie to make the prettiest of water bottles to keep her nice and hydrated after, perhaps, one too many glasses of wine.
2. A gold glittery coffee mug? YES PLEASE!
3. These earrings. I die. They have them in so many fun and festive colors. And what a great price!
4. You can never go wrong with this classic Stella & Dot bracelet. I love my gold one so much.
5. Oooohhh this honey face mask is so luxurious and makes such a beautiful gift for the gal that loves to be pampered.
6. For the stylish chef in your life, how amazing would this be in her kitchen? Not only is it super colorful with stripes (!!!) it has the most delicious and buttery olive oil inside. YUM.
7. You can never go wrong with a pretty candle that will brighten up her month of January.
8. These socks made me laugh. You know you have a girlfriend these would be perfect for. Roll them up in the coffee mug and you’ve got yourself a great gift to give.

Another Monday during the holiday season, another gift guide! This one is for the little man in your life. Sons, nephews, little brothers. Who says boys aren’t fun to shop for? Not this mama! Let’s do this.

1. Obviously the Cubs were huge this year. This book would be fun for the little fan who can read.
2. Logan is obsessed, obsessed, with legos. He will get a kit like this one, lock himself away for three to four hours, and finally emerge to exclaim that he finished. So impressive because you could not pay me to put together one of these things.
3. Bath bombs! The silliest little thing but my boys get so excited about them year after year.
4. Emojis are huge and this pillow made me smile.
5. A really special gift for the baseball player, these baseball Oakleys actually claim to for real help you see the ball better in the sunlight. Bonus that you can customize them to your hearts content. Naturally ours will lean red and black a la Broncos.
6. Beckett has been obsessed with traveling, since birth. This kid asks to go to the airport basically every other day and will complain that we haven’t ‘traveled in awhile.’ My goodness. This obsession combined with his imagination in FULL SWING these days I thought he’d have some fun with this light up plane. And maybe stop asking for the airport.
7. L has had and enjoyed the kindle for a few years, it’s time for B to get his own. This is high on his list.
8. EEK! J Crew makes the CUTEST version of New Balance gym shoes. Each boy will get a brand new colorful pair this year.
9. And last but not least, for the older kid who also enjoys his travels, how amazing is this Cubs suitcase? Perfect for spring training and anywhere else he may jet off to.

Heck yeah! The holiday season is upon us. And that means lots of festive recipes to come and one of my favorites part of ALFS….gift guides! 

We start it off with perfect ideas for that oh so perfect hostess. Because the holiday invitations will be arriving in the mail soon it’s better to stock up now on a few cute gift ideas so all you have to do come party time is find a babysitter, throw on your heels, and go. 4. What better way to help her relax post party? A festive bath bomb is such a unique idea.
5. Did you know? Ina Garten designed this spatula. Love the red for the holidays and love that she designed it as I pretty much want to be her. 
6. So way adorable – this cake server is the perfect idea for the girl that loves to bake.
7. Roll it up with a red ribbon and you’re done! This cheery kitchen towel will brighten up any home.
8. For the fancy chef, truffle salt. And hey, you don’t have to be fancy. Throw some of this stuff on top of roasted potatoes and you just upped your A game.
