This is how we roll grocery shopping:
Anyways, Sunday is here! Tonight, at the request of Wendy on Facebook, I’m trying out a caprese ravioli for her. Wish me luck…! I’ve never made something like this. Giada has it rated as level ‘easy’ which I’m not exactly sure I agree with but we shall see. I’ll keep you posted Wendy!
Chicken parm meatballs will be enjoyed Monday night. They were just so good the first time we must enjoy again. Green beans on the side. (Surprised?)
Tuesday and Wednesday are a bit of a free for all for me. I’m going to make a batch of my garden skinny soup (spring break is just around the corner) for a dinner and a few lunches. Also, Whole Foods opens nearby on Wednesday (!!!) so I’m sure I will pick up a goodie or two for myself there. So excited for the food, not excited for the effect on the bank account – yikes.
A new pasta will be enjoyed Thursday night. I love when a recipe calls for roasting garlic. It’s almost always an automatic new favorite. Roasted Italian sausage on the side, for M.
And that brings us to our wingless buffalo chicken pizza Friday.
I’ll also be doing some major shabby chic baking for B’s little girlfriend! We are celebrating her birthday Saturday and could not be more excited.
Remember, today is the last day to sign up for that awesome pizza stone! I keep thinking how cool it would be for the upcoming grilling season. Be sure to come on back tomorrow to see if YOU won!
Eat up,
C
