Another weekend down and was it a fun one spent with family in Ohio celebrating the wedding of a beautiful couple. Congrats to Megan and Rick!
Alright, now it’s time for 20 minutes. Here’s our menu plan for the week:
Well well well, it looks like we are back to outdoor grilling temps. How fun! Sunday will be a quick run to our favorite butcher. Chicken kabob, steak kabob, veggie kabob to share. All over brown rice.
Monday looks even more glorious, wow! Let’s get some spicy sweet salmon on the grill along with more veggies. The best roasted potatoes, ever, on the side.
Tuesday brings back some more normal fall temps so it’s time for a soup. I grew up eating my mom’s (out of this world) homemade Czechoslovakian soup. Hoping to duplicate it Tuesday during nap time, wish me luck!
Need to try out these chicken & avocado stuffed pitas for a dinner:impossible post I’m working on. Let’s chow down on them Wednesday night.
Thursday will be another night of that killer soup, warm bread on the side.
And that brings us to Friday and to HALLOWEEN! You can find out what we will be eating with friends and family right here.
What’s cooking in your kitchen this week?
P.S. Be sure to stay tuned to the blog, tomorrow! We are giving away $150 to MINTED! (hint hint – they have killer holiday cards). Good luck to you.

Glad you guys had fun at the wedding – everyone looks beautiful!
Your menu sounds delicious! I have stove top pot pie on the menu again this week, super easy weeknight meal, just my husband didn’t have an appetite last week -we’ll see!
