With Halloween just around the corner, here are a few of my favorite tips, tricks, and treats to help make your holiday perfectly festive!
1. Spooky music is fun. Totally creeped out scary music is not, at least for the kiddos. This family friendly Halloween Hits CD will be playing on our front porch all night long.
2. Doesn’t it always seem to be raining (downpouring) on Halloween? Make sure you have your Hunter boots ready to go. Black because they are classic and witch like, obviously.
3. What a fun way to throw a little humor into your Halloween dinner. Swap out your regular salad tongs for these Halloween Claw Salad Servers.
4. Not only is this Bogle Phantom wine super spooky, but it’s also crazy good. Find it at Wine.com.
5. A big black pot of bubbling black bean soup will be sitting on my stove all day. I totally pretend it’s a cauldron.
6. Blood orange candle? Perfection.
7. Halloween bark. Super festive, super kid friendly.
8. Call me dull, but Essie’s “Devil’s Advocate” is about as dressed up as you’ll find me. Love this color.
So tell me – what are you favorite Halloween items?

Ah, thanks Alanna! It was fun to put together ๐
Wow, that wine is super affordable too! Love!
When Hannah was little Halloween was OUR holiday – we’d have a huge party with her friends – we did it from kindergarten to fourth grade until we moved out here.
Now I am lucky if I get one trick or treater ๐
Happy Friday – hooray for sun!

Ah, that is sad about the trick or treaters! It’s so so fun to see little ones in their costumes. Sounds like you have great memories though ๐

LOVING these ‘pick’ boards! These are all perfection. Disagree on the affordable wine though – $15 is my self imposed max per bottle – we go through it too quickly! I might make a seasonal exception for this one Halloween week though…

Thanks Christine!! ๐
And I totally get what you are saying about the wine – I mean, if it’s a GREAT bottle $15 sounds like a steal – but, for a daily red (i.e. you will go through the whole bottle in a day, whoops) it can be steep when you add it up.
