Alright, after a weekend of crazy football fun (you win some, you lose some) it’s time to sit and plan for 20 minutes. Who’s with me? Here is our menu plan, hope it helps:
Sunday we are off to Grandad and Grandma Ginger’s for dinner – yippee, Aunt Molly is in town! I’ll be bringing a big dish of this old fashioned chocolate cobbler. I. Know.
Curtis Stone makes a mean split pea soup that I’ll be working on at nap time on Monday. Homemade cheesy croutons on top? Yes please.
M is off to Texas on Tuesday so that means a night with my boys and another bowl of that soup.
These chicken cheesesteak paninis look pretty fantastic. Can’t wait to try them out on Wednesday.
This chorizo and white bean stew looks super cozy for a Thursday Fall night in. Bonus that it uses smoked paprika which we all know I happen to love.
And that brings us to Friday and to this awesome slow cooker chicken tikka masala recipe. Yummmm!
Tell me – what’s cooking in your kitchen this week?

I made a chicken tortilla soup last night in the ole’ crockpot. Mark said it was delicious but I was so busy I forgot to have some! Leftovers tonight!

What? You forgot to eat? I can’t imagine – ha! What were you up to?
That sausage white bean soup sounds amazing! Um, but there are way too many onions on the cheese steak panini, I am passing on that.
Tonight it’s Greek chicken with zucchini pancakes sprinkled with herbed feta cheese. The chicken has been marinating since yesterday in olive oil, garlic, lemon zest and lots of oregano. Yum!

You are so funny with your onions!!
Loved the split pea soup, and I don’t even like peas. It must be the ham and croutons.
