C’s picks + a makeover!

What happened? Suddenly someone turns 33 and everything is different around here.

Well, it was time. An ALFS makeover is upon us and I could not be more excited.

The Fall season approaching always brings a sense of great change with me, coupled with my birthday – it seemed fitting to roll out the new look for the blog. What do you think? I so hope you like it. And I wore a jumpsuit. A JUMPSUIT. M was so….confused.

That being said – let’s still take care of business around here. Ahem. 1. I hope you have a fantastic Labor Day and 2. Be sure to stick around. We’re starting an awesome giveaway next week – like, my favorite thus far. I am so excited about it! And finally, 3. Let’s get to our menu plan for the week. Here’s what I’m cooking:

Sunday is dinner at my mom’s. I’m sure she has some wonderful recipes she’s been working hard on, as always.

I’ve been lazy about Labor Day this year, but now I’m aching to entertain once more summer style. We’ll see if some friends can get together for an impromptu BBQ which will hopefully involve this dish.

Tuesday it’s back to the day to day grind. BLT chicken burgers sound perfect. Basil mayo to slather on top.

We enjoyed these chicken taquitos last week. My whole goal in making them (aside from they are delicious) was to snap an updated photo. Well, I completely forgot – so, we’ll be enjoying them again this week.

Thursday let’s go with a super fast and super delicious pesto pasta for M. Mom is going out!

That brings us to Friday and our pizza. Doesn’t get more ALFS than that.
