Happy long weekend everyone! Let us not forget in between the bbq’s, baseball games, sunshine, wine with friends, boating, and pool time fun not to to pause and remember what it’s all about. I will be thinking of my Papa, Thomas, who served in WWII and was awarded a purple heart for his bravery. Big deal, right? Beckett has the honor of Thomas as his middle name.
Now for some food chat. We’re headed to Henry’s birthday party Saturday night and I’ll be bringing along an old stand by: summer time pasta. This sauce literally cooks itself! Magic.
Sunday we’re having an All American day – I’m hosting a family bbq after L’s baseball game. Can’t wait! On the menu? Summer ribs along with mexican street corn. Bowls of fresh fruit as well. This summer I’m all about cute little bowls offering one type of fruit instead of it all mixed together in one bowl.
Monday we are heading up to Lake Geneva with this crew which should be a blast. I’m hoping to get in time early to make this to die for summer tart.
