Wow, another Thanksgiving is upon us. Didn’t it feel like we were just doing this? I remember growing up wanting the years to go by faster so I could be all grown up and now I want nothing more than to slow. them. down. Time is FLYING with our two boys, and I can’t wait for this holiday season together with them. I don’t think it gets much better than ages four and ten.
Things will slow down around ALFS for the long holiday weekend, hope that’s OK. We are heading to my parents for Thanksgiving and then off to Florida to catch some rays. I’m looking to unplug a bit and make sure I soak up my two crazy boys in the sun instead of my ever present iphone. In the meantime, here are some things to keep you occupied…
To begin, how unreal cute is the Thanksgiving graphic right up there designed for ALFS by the lovely Nicole Cicak? If you haven’t checked out her work, I highly suggest you do so. She offers custom family ‘favorite things‘ prints in her shop that would be a very special Christmas gift.
I shared this on C’s picks this week but wanted to make sure you saw. This is the perfect soup to make with all that leftover turkey. Crazy healthy which is, um, needed.
EEK! This shirt for the holidays. M will totally call me a dork but it’s just so cute I don’t even care. I will be wearing it most of December.
As a DIE HARD fan of White Christmas, all I want for Christmas is this mug. Seriously. Got to have it. Someone please buy it for me, thank you.
I saw this shirt on a darling mom in her darling Instagram feed with her darling kids and thought huh, junior section of Target, really? Um, friends. This shirt is sooooooo cozy and lovely and festive and I will be rocking it with leggings at O’hare on my way to Florida.
Need an easy, adorable, and affordable gift for all your girlfriends? Take this plus this. Place in a mini gift bag, add tissue, and you are done! (The best part is figuring out which friends to label nice and which ones to label naughty – it’s so obvious, right?)
Love this appetizer for the holidays: hearty, easy to eat, and so festive!
Tis the season of parties and I can’t wait to dress up for a few! Got to love the Loft, and they nailed this red lace dress. Beautiful. Also this one piece by Cabi is on it’s way to my closet. I could not be more in love. SO CHIC!
If you are home this weekend decking the halls make this dish, promise? So cozy and comforting and perfect in big bowls by the newly lit up tree.
I can’t let a season go by without sharing this video because, well, it’s just so dead on. Moms, are you with me?
And that’s a wrap my friends! ALFS will be quiet over the long holiday weekend. You can always catch our silliness over on Instagram story if you’d like to follow our travels along.
Happiest of Thanksgivings to you and your family!
