You guys. I’ve been a total infusing water addict lately. It’s so fun! And refreshing! And hydrating! All such good things, am I right? Especially with the warmer temps just around the corner. These additions make staying hydrated all that more interesting and less like a chore.
To start, let’s get your routine down. As the above suggest, filling a huge pitcher in the fridge is a great idea to have chilled infused water throughout your day. If fridge space is tight though, fruit infusing water bottles have been popping up all over. I love the look of this plain white one with the pretty fruit and it’s gotten some really great reviews. I’ve given this one a try. For the price, it’s pretty darn good, but sometimes the top does flip open when I don’t exactly want it to so be mindful. Carrie Underwood also designed one for Dick’s Sporting goods that is pretty darn cute. Love her.
Alright, now that we’ve got our handy dandy water bottle let’s get to the good stuff. My go to routine is this: I fill my water bottle with water, lemon, and basil and chill all night in the fridge. When I wake up, I drink the whole thing. So incredibly refreshing, helps me wake up and jumps start my metabolism for the day. A huge win!
From there I either refill and back in the fridge it goes for post workout or I change things up. Raspberry, lime, and basil is another fav. (I have a serious thing for basil).
