Another week of February. Sigh. But hey, it’s the last full week of February! And you know what comes next? MARCH! Ok, not that it has the best track record around here in Chicago but it’s one step closer. We can do this, friends.
You know what helps? Good food. I have some delicious recipes on the line up for you this week, some old some new. I hope it helps you plan what’s going down in your kitchen.
To start, let’s go with an oldie but goodie. Cheesy chicken pot pie, red wine, and a fire sounds perfect for Sunday night. This one is oh so easy to throw together and we all gobble it up.
Of course I have to have a soup in the line up! My spring chicken soup is packed with veggies and the lighter flavors of spring, but, it’s still warm and comforting for those chilly Monday nights. Don’t forget the bread for dipping, obviously.
That brings us to Tuesday night and to a new recipe I’m hoping will be a win for my family: buffalo chicken sloppy joes. They sound and look delicious!
Wednesday night mama is going out – a cooking class, to be exact. How fun!
And yes I’m spoiled this week. Cooking club is Thursday night and everyone is bringing over delicious food to my home. Our head chef is Beth, and look at what she has up her sleeve! Gluten free deep dish pizza.
Ah, Friday. Yippee! I’m thinking a family date night in with this luxurious carbonara pasta for all.
What do you think – anything sound good? Happy cooking!
