Another week, another kitchen line up! I so hope you are finding these, along with the grocery list, helpful. I try to keep things fresh and applicable to the seasons and, let’s be honest, the frigid temps. Hope you are finding a recipe or two that can bring some comfort into your own home! Let’s do this.
A friend mentioned Ree Drumonds mexican casserole to me while the boys were jumping away on an inflatable octopus. Ah, mom life. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since so it’s so happening today. She warned me, as delicious as it was, it took some time to prep hence why it’s perfect for cozy Sunday cooking.
That brings us to Monday and to one of M’s favorite soups: split pea. This Curtis Stone recipe is perfection, I mean homemade croutons on the top? Fantastic.
A staple in our home, homemade tostadas for a quick cooking dinner on Tuesday night.
I’m a total sucker for a skillet recipe. Can’t wait to try out this italian chicken skillet on Wednesday night. How good does it look?
Another delicious quick cooking staple in our home: philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Always like to make extra for my parents up the road.
And that brings us to Friday. Off the boys go to a sleepover at Mimi’s as mama is headed downtown, woohoo!
What do you think – anything sound good? Let me know what you’re making this week. I’d so love to hear!

Thanks Alanna! Glad you like it 🙂
I told Hannah that I needed one more idea for a dinner and was shocked as shit when she sent me a link for a crock pot French dip – what the what? Hopefully I can slice the beef thin enough for her to eat it! 😀
