Oh my heart, it’s fig season! These little magical pieces of fruit only come around for a short time of the year, so let’s highlight them the best way we can: piled up on top some mixed greens paired with the perfect counterparts. That would be toasted walnuts and creamy feta. So simple and elegant, it’s the perfect way to highlight the delicious perfection that are figs.
The dressing is also super simple, a whisked up balsamic vinaigrette. I tossed just the mixed greens with the dressing and then laid everything on top. This helps the feta stay white and the figs are left alone to shine.
Make this fig and feta salad this week, before it’s too late!
