Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you all are enjoying a lovely weekend. With football all wrapped up, ours has been pretty chill which is refreshing. Only one game this weekend and that was for little B’s rockstar baseball team which might just be my favorite thing to watch, ever.
In the meantime, I’m taking this Sunday morning to help plan things out for the week. Fills my soul to get things in order for our family and for our home. Full tank of gas, prepped veggies and fruits, a menu plan outlined, etc. All these things make Monday morning so much more enjoyable, I promise. Without further ado, our kitchen line up for the week. I hope you can find a recipe or two that sounds delicious for your own family!
Sunday night let’s honker down in the dreariness and start the week off right. This Italian chicken soup is described as an Italian grandmothers version of classic chicken noodle soup. Sign me up.
Monday let’s lean a bit more heartier but still keep it healthy. These stuffed shells use whole wheat noodles, chicken sausage and plenty of spinach. OK OK and ricotta and parmesan, calm down.
I had this 4 minute spicy garlicy shrimp on a recent menu plan but never got around to make it. That changes this week Tuesday night! Crusty bread on the side because, why not.
Wednesday night seems like an excellent night for egg rolls in a bowl because they are everything, my friends.
Thursday night is a slow cooker night and we can’t get enough of this slow cooker garlic parmesan chicken. You use bone in chicken thighs and potatoes and garlic and pure magic happens. I’ve had a few friends tell me their husbands can’t handle bone in meat. I’m convinced this recipe would forever change that.
And that brings us to Friday. Five straight nights of cooking in? Fam, let’s go out.
Happy Cooking!
