Yippee! After a few weeks off due to the holidays, it’s time to get back in the C’s picks saddle. What better time to start a new resolution, menu planning anyone? A few minutes each week to plan out your dinners is life changing. I always tell people don’t overwhelm yourself, start with just two or three meals. See how you do. And hey, plan along right with me! Each week here on A Life From Scratch I will have a full line up for you all set to go! That’s how much I like you. I hope you can be inspired with a recipe or two that you think your own family will enjoy. Now, let’s do this!
Sunday night we are having some darling friends by to hang and play. Trying out a brand new french onion chicken recipe because, um, how can that be bad? Will serve over egg noodles with plenty of crusty bread and a light spinach salad.
Let’s get a big pot of orzo spinach soup going on Monday. A great friend recommended this one, and I can’t wait to try. Looks oh so healthy and comforting.
I’ve yet to blog about this one but I think we ate it four times in December. Love the smokiness of this slow cooker chipotle chicken stew. Avocado and cheese on top, obviously.
Ooooohhhh this one has the boys names written all over it. Hoping for a family win with this gnoochi bake on Wednesday night.
Another recipe highly recommended to me (by my mom)! Can’t wait to try this slow cooker Chinese beef. Roasted broccoli on the side.
And that brings us to Friday. After six straight days of cooking, let’s give mom the night out. Boys, let’s go out!
Happy planning,
C
