After a week off due to Montana it feels good to be back in the kitchen planning and cooking. Lots of new recipes on this menu plan to try out. I so hope one sounds good for your own family!
Sunday night we will be celebrating Beckett turning FIVE with tons of family and friends at Lindy’s Landing. As I write this it’s supposed to be 61 degrees and raining. Of course. Praying that isn’t the case…
August is about corn and this chicken and corn skillet caught my eye to test out Monday night. Corn flake topping? Yes, please.
Tuesday is all about tacos and we can’t get enough of these shrimp ones! The avocado salsa is EVERYTHING. (Bonus they cook in minutes since both boys have football.)
Wednesday night going to test out a recipe my dear friend raved about: orzo with spinach, parmesan, and adding in chicken sausage. How can it be bad?
Thursday is a football night so this slow cooker Italian sausages with peppers, onions, and marinara dipping sauce will be just the thing when the boys come home starving post practice.
And that brings us to Friday! We are, luckily, heading up to Lake Geneva to see friends. This raw summer salad, ribs, and these skillet rolls will be all packed up for dinner. Can’t wait!
And that’s a wrap – happy cooking!
