Sigh. Feels we are stuck in the April showers/dreary/not warm mode these days. And cooking is reflective as such. Keeping things easy and healthy(ish) all with a comfort twist this week because, well, somethings gotta give. Hope you find a recipe you want to try for your family!
Sunday night let’s go with a bit of comfort after a weekend jam packed with baseball. These cuban sliders look pretty darn tasty. Zucchini fries on the side because, obviously, they are super healthy.
We love this super quick and easy recipe, oh so delicious for a Monday night. Buffalo chicken rocks our world.
Oh my heavens, can’t wait to test these skillet nachos out on the crew. I’m hoping they are a hit all around, how can they not be?
Wednesday we are back on the field for the big guy’s first game. I’m thinking wraps are going to be the answer this season. Lots and lots and lots of portable wraps. Let’s start it off with a classic: bbq chicken wraps. Roll them up and go!
That brings us to Thursday and a nice night at home together. Big bowls of tuscan vegetable soup and L’s favorite garlic bread sound perfect. And an early bed time.
Back on the field Friday night! Let’s do with a cheesy pizza night post baseball practice.
And that’s a wrap. Whew. What’s everyone making this week? I’d so love to hear!

I love the cuban slider idea – wonder if I can get the kadults to give it the green light? Meal planning would be so easy if it was just for me! 😛
Stay warm!
