After a week off due to Florida, it feels good to be back in the meal planning saddle! Lots of fun going down this week, including a lot of cooking new recipes. Can’t wait to try these out! Let’s do this, seriously, 20 minutes is all it takes to get a meal plan in order. Makes Monday feel so much better.
Sunday L and M are off to the Bears game. Brrrrrr. Seems appropriate to welcome them home with cozy sheet pan nachos.
The best kind of playdates for kids are play dates that moms can cook! Luckily my Italian friend makes the best stuffed artichokes in town, she’ll be walking me through the Monday night while the boys play away. They go great next to some light cacio e pepe.
I’ve been dying to try this smoked sausage and baked bean soup, seems like one the boys may love. Corn bread muffins on the side, it’s all happening Tuesday night.
Wednesday another new family friendly recipe I’ve been eyeing: cheesy chicken cutlets with ham and jam. YUM. M’s roasted green beans on the side.
Thursday night is one of my all time favorite nights, well, that is every other month at least. COOKING CLUB! I’m back on festive drink duty and this Christmas sangria caught my eye. Lovely.
Friday night is special, too. Off to a festive holiday dinner in the sitter with my sisters Woohoo!! Heading to Hampton Social for the first time.
And I know I don’t typically post Saturdays dinner but a weekend night in during the month of December is to be celebrated. We will be in pajamas, by the fire and tree, munching away on this (healthy!) buttermilk chicken casserole.
That’s a wrap! What do you think….anything sound good?
