…Literally, that’s exactly what this room got.
Over mounds of paint samples, Starbucks, homemade coffee cake, and screeching toddlers, a color jumped out at me in my darling friend’s new home.
Was it the name? Was it the shade? Was it the room?
I think it was all those things. It was a pretty swift decision, that gorgeous dining room. And the oh so happy texts later once the painter got started confirmed it was the right one. Yippee.
What is this beautiful crisp color? Well, it’s Mountain Air by Sherwin Williams. It’s the kind of color that literally makes you want to take a deep breath when you see it, which is always a good thing to have in your home.
So, what do you think? Stunning, right? Can’t wait to see it all completed!

What a beautiful room!
I love the contrast between the two colours. I have the perfect space for that wall colour. I think we are probably going to end up doing quit a bit of painting this fall to make our house feel more… like us!

I love the lavender blue! Grey is a huge colour choice here in the UK as it’s not as bland as white, not as limiting as a colour option, and not as looming as black. Your colour is very much bang on trend

Its a really nice beautiful open room .. I would add only a few pieces of Furniture. I like Mountain Air .. its a beautiful “airy” color .. its does really have that breath of fresh air feeling
It really did turn out grest. And Statbucks, you say? Oh yes, I really am in the mood.
We only use Sherwin Williams paint. We may be boring in our color choices but the paint quality is superb and washes beautifully.
