You know sometimes when something is so bad, it’s good?
That would be this football dip recipe. M is so obsessed, he declared that it should be called ‘The Mike.’
It’s the most perfectly delicious bad recipe to whip together for friends. We’ve enjoyed (read: inhaled) it many times at Catherine’s home made by her good friend, Nikki. Thanks for sharing the recipe! It literally wasn’t an option for M to get through football season without it.
Happy weekend everyone… Go Bears! They started playing, right? #clueless
- 1 cream cheese, softened
- 1 small can Horner chili, no beans
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar
- Mix the cream cheese and chili together. Top with cheddar cheese and warm in the oven or microwave for a few minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.

Sometimes you just have to like something even if you know you shouldn’t. I can see why this makes the list! It does seem like a perfect football treat!

My family makes this all the time! It’s the hit of every party we go to. Try adding in a bit of salsa next time on top of the cream cheese, before you add the beans. We just recently did that and it was out of this world! So glad I found your blog on The Wednesday Roundup!

I love this- my old boss used to make something like this as a reward when we did something well and it was always every man for himself because it went FAST! I’ve never made it- definitely pinning to make this Sunday 🙂
I stopped by from Whimsy Wednesday.
