Last night we enjoyed a lot of family time and a lot of good food – thank you Ginger! As you can see from the photos, everyone had a blast. Too cute – all around. Tonight we are off to Mike’s moms to enjoy a birthday dinner there! Now, for our line up this week:
We haven’t touched our green egg in over a week. M was having withdrawl symptoms so I knew grilling had to be on the agenda for Monday evening. Kabobs from the butcher fit the bill, chicken for moi and steak for M. Brown rice on the side.
Tuesday night I’m going with an all out summer dinner. Fresh pasta tossed with bright green homemade pesto and sliced tomatoes (from my mom’s garden!) on the side. I got the idea here – totally inspiring. What a perfect easy summer meal.
Wednesday M flies away to the east coast so I get to eat whatever I want. Grilled salmon sounds perfect to me with a side of edamame.
Thursday I’m going with this arugula salad but will add some grilled chicken sausage to make it a meal. Totally healthy!
Friday M returns home to….our pizza.

I am making my Chicago style deep dish pizza tonight – my splurge for doing so well during the last week!
I also have this salad on tap for lunches – with grilled chicken and leftover steak – sounds good, doesn’t it?

Nothing as damn yummy as in yours!
Although I am having a moment with stuffing fat dates with goats cheese and covering in Parma ham and drizzling with honey and baking them! Tapas style food is big in our home!
