Happy beautiful Fall weekend everyone! I hope you are out enjoying it, even if it’s at a kid’s sporting event which, let’s be honest, is basically the weekends of parents. Taking a few minutes this Sunday morning to plan out this weeks menu plan. I hope you find something you may like for your own family!
Sunday night we are having family by to celebrate Logan turning 11! We are going to get his favorite skirt steak going on the grill, along with some perfect roasted potatoes. I’ve also been eyeing this beautiful looking autumn salad. Cupcakes of course, to end the meal!
I’ve been dying to try this recipe recommended strongly by a friend. It’s happening Monday night.
Tuesday is always a slow cooker day with the boys having football. My mom and dad recently loved these slow cooker smothered pork chops so we are going to give them a go. I know, I know not the healthiest of meals but we don’t eat this way every evening.
Let’s lighten things up a tad Wednesday. Shrimp is always a great way to do that! These spicy garlicky shrimp look to be so delicious. (Bonus that they come together in FOUR minutes!). Crusty bread for dipping on the side, and some roasted green beans.
Thursday is cooking club – YIPPEE! I’m helping out the end chef this week and we are preparing a whole roast chicken in a skillet over ciabatta bread. You then slice and serve over an arugula salad. I KNOW. The bread in this dish is literally the best thing I have ever consumed in my life. Amen.
Ah, Friday. Let’s get our classic going: wingless buffalo chicken pizza.
Happy cooking everyone!
