Ah, Sunday morning. Love taking a few minutes to plan for the week ahead and what better way to do that then to line up your menu plan for the week? I promise, it makes Monday way less painful. Let’s begin!
Tonight we have zero plans which is so nice. Going to stay in and enjoy just the four of us. Making a traditional homemade pot roast (my mother in laws recipe) with all the good stuff: potatoes, onions, and carrots. Spinach salad on the side to lighten things up.
Monday let’s lean crazy healthy. Loved this classic vegetable soup and can’t wait to make it again.
Happy Valentines! We’ll be in with the boys and munching on homemade tostadas. A typical hit all around.
Wednesday is baseball night so that means I will get out the slow cooker. We love love love this chicken and biscuits recipe. Yum!
Thursday, omg, mom is on her own for a bit as the boys head out to Big Sky, MT for a boy trip. I’m so anxious thinking about this but one of the good parts is I get to eat whatever I want. I’ve been eyeing these peanut noodle bowls for awhile and can’t wait to test them out!
And that brings me to Friday. Guess mama is going out? Or staying in and watching ‘This Is Us’ in pajamas with a glass of wine. I have to say, the later option sounds way more me.
Happy cooking,
C
