I must be in a spicy mood – there is a lot of kick going on in our food this upcoming week. I hope M can handle it!
Sunday is soup day, as always, and this one is delicious. Sure to warm us up and clear any sinus pressure that may be lurking.
Monday I’m bringing back a ‘vintage’ recipe of ours. This one goes way back to when we were just married and prompts me to remember quite a ridiculous fight. The recipe was since adapted and enjoyed many times (fight free) since then. It’s charred chili rellenos complete with Italian sausage. Because a meal isn’t a meal without meat. I learned that one the hard way. Ok – actually? I’m not quite sure I’m over this fight as I reminisce here…
Tuesday is our typical leftover night. We’ll enjoy the Mexican soup again.
Wednesday we’ll be trying this one from Bon Appetit. I thought it looked lovely, what do you think?
Thursday brings us pasta with a kick. I’ll be making Pioneer Woman’s cajun pasta. Look at all those colors! And any chance I get to use my skillet I am one happy girl.
Friday will round out the week with our pizza. We’re so predictable that way.
Anything sound good to you?
Eat up!
