Here is what’s cooking in our kitchen this week:
Sunday night we enjoyed a pool date with just the 4 of us at the club and ended up staying for dinner. We do this occasionally throughout the summer and I feel so spoiled every single time. Like really, how is this my life? Never taken for granted I get to enjoy a meal there. And the mess is left behind, huge bonus.
Monday it’s back to the grill! We ate a lot of heavy bbq foods this weekend so I’m grilling up a nice light dish. Have you made this yet? Please say yes.
Tuesday I’m making something that looks completely drool worthy. Chicken Parmesan burgers. Thank you, Bon Appetit.
We haven’t had our pizza in too long so I’ll be whipping that up Wednesday night. Hoping to put a new spin on it – I’ll keep you posted!
L still mentions ‘italian sausage thursdays‘ so I’m going to stick with that for him this week. Chicken for me. We’ll grill up some veggies along the side with our new favorite crack potatoes.
Friday we’ll end with a special meal of grilled ribeye steaks and green beans with roasted tomato vinaigrette and chili gorgonzola butter. I know.
What’s cooking in your kitchen this week? I’d love to hear!
Eat up,
C

I am making crack potatoes this week for the first time! I am also having them with Italian Sausages for R and chicken for me!
Yippee – let me know how they turn out, we keep making them over here, hence the crack name 😉
Tonight we are making fish tacos. I usually use tilapia. These are a great summer staple!
Yummm – love fish tacos!!
You look so cute with that braid! What a life “dinner at the club!” Love it! I think I need to institute L’s Italian sausage Thursday. By then I need something easy and quick…that fits the bill!
Thanks for sharing!

You’re sweet, thank you! And L’s grilled sausage once a week is a pretty fun and simple idea. 🙂
Looks yummy! I may have to try the crack potatoes at the house this week! Thanks for the ideas.

I hope you are able to make them this week, they are soooo good!
Love your hair and swimsuit! Chili gorgonzola butter sounds so amazing. I think we’re having stir fry? I don’t know, I’m bad at meal planning.
You’re very sweet, thank you. Stir fry sounds amazing. Give yourself an hour if you can and I bet you’d be great at meal planning!
Did try the grilled shrimp and asparagus. served with lemon linguine and it was divine
Yea Martha! I’m so glad you’ve made this one. Great idea to serve with pasta.
Let me know if you cook anymore from Curtis Stone’s cookbook, I have it as well and would love to cook some of his recipes along with you! I am always good at tagging recipes that I want to try and then don’t follow thru with making them! Oh and I made the crack potatoes, they are like crack! I was told to make some more tonight!
Reynaul, I am so happy to hear your family loved the crack potatoes – yippee!
I am SO loving his cookbook. I made the lettuce wraps, corn pasta, fish tacos, chipotle pork tacos…..I think they are all up on ALFS because they were all delicious.
The ribeyes I’m making friday are his recipe – let me know if you want to try them out together!
Sounds good! I’m in!
Wed. was such a surprise. I hadn’t read this post yet, put B down for bed, and thought, “I haven’t had the pizza in so long, I’m in the mood for that right now”. Then I walked downstairs, smell the worcheshire sauce heating in the pan, and couldn’t believe it. What a coincidence! And the fresh mozzarella was a nice touch too.
