A little while back I shared my eight daily home tips for a well run home that I’m sure to check off the list each day to keep things running smoothly. Now it’s time for my weekly list! These keep me organized, keep me in line, and make all the difference week by week.
Tell me, what am I missing? I’d love to hear your tips!

Having most weekends filled with fun activities (Fun. Yes! Organized. Hell no!), I would say bringing in the big guns (ie- the husband) to clean up major parts of the house before I get home helps tremendously! I couldn’t do it on my own. I feel like I’m flying by the seat of my pants most Mondays!
One of these days it’ll be the dead of winter and our routine will become incredibly monotonous…but not right now!

I try to clear the clutter every day. If I waited a whole week, I would be buried in it.
If I waited a whole week we would be buried alive.
We clean the washrooms weekly, floors get swept daily (or we let the irobot run around and do it for us) laundry is daily, we tidy daily as well. With 6 people in this house it would be a disaster if we left it.

Thank you for sharing your great tips. I know that I can always improve on my homemaking skills. I love your short list. It is concise and covers most things we should to on a weekly basis.
I love #8 and totally agree. Nothing like fresh flowers to brighten a room and brighten your spirits!

Fresh flowers do make all the difference. That seriously is a fact. I buy a new bouquet each week and love them.

Yes to all of these – especially sheets/towels and garbage! My addition is doing one big grocery shop on Friday or the weekend to get set for the week. It might look like Hunger Games in the house come Thursday night but I refuse to stop at the store during the week and like to start the week feeling prepared.
Great tip – I used to do the whole one grocery shop per week back when the boys were smaller but now, I swear, they eat me out of house and home. I’m there every other day for something. They literally eat non stop. HA!

These are such great tips .. I’ve done most of these except Fresh Flowers. Those can get pretty expensive but maybe one per month won’t hurt
