I so can’t believe we are already into November friends. That means a lot of festive things will be happening here on ALFS. Gift guides start tomorrow (I KNOW!) and I’m going to try and get one festive recipe per week up so you can save, if you’d like, for your own Thanksgiving and Christmas planning. I so love this time of year and am so excited that it is here! Now, if it can only stay light past 5:00PM. I am dying my friends, DYING. The only thing getting me through? Some serious time in the kitchen. Another week of C’s picks – let’s do this!
Sunday night, thankfully, we will be at our dear neighbors home. I am hoping this will pull me out of my depression over it being dark prior to L getting off the bus. Not exactly sure what is on the agenda for the meal yet, but I will definitely plan on bringing something tasty.
Monday let’s get a new recipe going from Ina’s new book, Cooking for Jeffrey. Gotta love that gal. Her 16 bean pasta soup looks unreal comforting. Fresh parmesan and crusty bread on the side, of course.
I am so exited to try this new slow cooker recipe on Tuesday! Jerk chicken and potatoes and green beans – everything you need in one slow cooking pot. Couldn’t be easier.
Oh my gosh how much do we love this recipe? That would be A LOT. Never any leftovers with this one…..pretty please try it out?
That brings us to Thursday and to another new recipe: honey mustard roasted thighs. This one couldn’t be easier. Hoping the simple and delicious flavors make it a winner.
And it’s Friday – yippee! Let’s celebrate with an oldie but goodie: his & hers pizza. So love this one as everyone is happy. Whew.
That’s a wrap – so hope something sounds good for your family!
