And just like that – it’s January 2016. Wow.
I have to say, as much as I sort of dread this dreary month and the next few, the ‘fresh slate’ a new year brings can be refreshing. There is no better time to organize, donate, clear out, and of course – plan!
Why not start in the kitchen? As always, each and every Sunday you can check in here with me and hopefully I can give you an idea or two to make for your family this week. And recently added, below you’ll find a grocery list which lists every ingredient you’ll need to make the meals listed for the week. I hope this is a new feature you can enjoy! Now let’s get to it.
Sunday and Monday we are still hanging at the beach so a lot of margaritas, fish tacos, and fun in the sun will be on the agenda.
Tuesday we land back to reality and let’s break it in with the all time comfort recipe: my mom’s chicken noodle soup.
I recently made (with a few tweaks) these mexican stuffed green peppers and they were unreal. Totally making them again Wednesday to snap a good photo for you all and, of course, gobble up.
Our new favorite crock pot recipe is slow cooker tuscan chicken stew. Throw it together in the morning and dinner is ready when you are.
Something I feel every home needs to be able to nail: I’m testing out Jamie Oliver’s spaghetti carbonara for a ‘fancy’ family date night in. As always, I will keep you posted.
What do you think….anything sound good? Happy cooking!
